How do I log-in?
Make sure you have subscribed to the course. Enter your chosen username and password in the log-in box at the top-right of the page. Then press the log in button.

How do I subscribe?
Click on the buy/subscribe option on the menu, select the course you want to subscribe to and then follow the instructions on-screen.

Is the Food Safety certificate the same as a Food Hygiene certificate?
YES. The Food Safety course is set at training level one as described in the UK Industry Guides to Good Hygiene Practice, so it is the same material taught in colleges to obtain a Food Safety (level one) certificate. In some colleges this course is also known as the Food Hygiene Foundation certificate.

How do I get my certificate? Will you post it to me?
To obtain a certificate you must first complete the assessment included in the course. You must achieve more than 67% in all modules. Once you have done this, a 'print certificate' button will appear on the control panel. You can then print out your own certificate using a printer.

How many times can I take the assessment?
You can take the assessment as many times as you like within your year's subscription.

How long do I have access to the course for?
You have access for one year, you can log-in at any time and refresh your knowledge.

Do I have to do the whole course to get my certificate?
You should complete the whole course before trying the assessment and obtaining your certificate. But why? The simple answer is that EHOs like to know you have sat through a food safety course, not just taken a test. They want to ensure your knowledge is up to date and we are keen for your certificate to be recognised as a indication that you have studied and passed the assessment ensuring peace of mind for all.

How do I get access to the course?
Obtaining access to our courses is simple. You have two choices. You can either do the course online or on CD-Rom.

I have a number of people to train will it be easy to manage?
Yes. For supervisors with multiple trainees we provide a management control panel. The control panel allows supervisors to add trainees, monitor their progress and print certificates.

I have tried to log-in but nothing happens. Why?
Our courses require you to have 'cookies' enabled on your browser. If 'cookies' are disabled you will not be able to log-in to the course. AOL has this feature disabled by default. The easiest solution to this problem for AOL users is to use Internet Explorer rather than AOL.

I try to log-in but my username and/or password are not recognised.
Check that you have not got CAPS LOCK on and enter your details very carefully. If you still have problems please phone us to confirm that your username and password are correct.

I can log-in, but when I launch the course nothing happens. Why?
Our courses need the 'Macromedia Flash player version 7 plug-in' to be installed on your computer in order for them to run. If you haven't got the plug-in then go to the Macromedia website to download the plug-in now. It's quick, simple and safe.

If you choose to do the course online you could be training in minutes. All you need to do is subscribe and pay online to gain access.

If you choose to do the course from CD-Rom then we also accept payment online; we will then send a disc out to you in the post with simple step by step installation instructions. During the install process you will need to phone us to unlock your CD-Rom.
